OmniFocus for iPhone v2.3.2 adds support for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. It also improves stability by fixing a crash which was sometimes encountered when receiving a significant time change notification from the operating system.
OmniFocus 2.0.3 is a minor update which fixes some Yosemite compatibility issues and a few other bugs.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some Yosemite compatibility issues with the Clip-o-Tron: it will no longer try to capture the full content of a selected message on Yosemite, only the subject and a link and any selected text. (Yosemite compatibility also requires the new Clip-o-Tron Installer v1.0.1.)
- Newly captured links to Mail messages (from the “Send to OmniFocus” service) will now work on iOS, not just Mac. This makes those links much more useful (and reduces the need to capture the full content of each message).
- Fixed a Yosemite compatibility issue where scrolling the help window would cause the navigation bar to temporarily detach from the top of the window.
- Fixed a Yosemite compatibility issue where viewing multiple help pages in the help window could lead to a crash.
- Fixed a Yosemite compatibility issue with clipping email messages where the original message link would get split into two links when syncing to the iOS apps.
- Fixed a Yosemite compatibility issue where the In-App Purchase window would never finish loading.
- Fixed a bug in the hidden “compact layout” mode where neither the status circle nor the flag could be clicked from the mouse.
- Fixed several issues with displaying and editing dates when using languages other than English.
- Fixed a display bug in Synchronization Preferences where the letter “B” was superimposed over the gear icon.
Changes
- Whenever a language other than English is is being used, if a date can’t be understood in the preferred language the date editor will try to see if it matches anything in English. This means it’s always possible to use English shortcuts such as “next week” or “next Thursday” even if you’re using OmniFocus in a different language.

OmniFocus 2.0.2 For iPad fixes several problems present in version 2.0:
- Background Syncing — OmniFocus no longer informs the user that “The Internet connection appears to be offline” when launching after failed background sync.
- Crash Pressing Return — The app no longer crashes when pressing the return key with a non-English keyboard.
- Crash From Lock Screen — OmniFocus no longer crashes when launching from a lock screen notification.
- Edit Mode — The contextual menu no longer blocks items from being dragged and re-ordered.
- Audio Recording — Recordings are no longer lost if the app is backgrounded during a recording.
- Interface — The dimming effect for inactive elements (including the sidebar) is less severe.
- Localizations — Updated several localizations for completeness and accuracy.
- Many Smaller Issues — Including crashes.
Our deepest apologies, everyone! Our OmniFocus 2.0 submission was unintentionally marked as a test build, which meant it stopped working on Friday, September 26 (displaying the message “This OmniFocus prerelease has expired"). This update removes that test flag so that the app will never expire.
This is the initial release of OmniFocus for iPad 2. The app has been completely redesigned:

- Today Extension — See OmniFocus items due today right in Notification Center
- Sharing Extension — The new Sharing Extension makes it easier than ever to add new items from other apps.
- Interactive Notifications — Alerts for nearby and due items let you mark complete (or snooze) without even opening the app
- Duration — Edit and view estimated duration for actions
- Improved Search — See results from the current view or your entire OmniFocus database
- Background Sync — OmniFocus syncs in the background so changes you make on other devices are ready when you are
- 64-bit — OmniFocus is now optimized for A8 and 64-bit for blazing fast performance.
