Organize tasks into projects, the way you would normally think of them. Then organize related projects into folders, if you like.
Create tags for things like location, person, energy level, priority, and so on. Any task can have a project and multiple tags.
Add notes — even long notes — to your tasks, so you have the information you need when performing a task. You can also add graphics and audio files as attachments to your tasks.
Know what’s coming up in your day with the Forecast, which shows your tasks and calendar events in order. Tap on an upcoming day to plan it in advance.
See the included Forecast, Inbox, Projects, Tags, Flagged, Nearby, and Review perspectives to view your data in a number of different and useful ways.
Customize each built-in perspective separately by deciding what it should show and how it should filter your tasks.
Let the Review feature periodically remind you to go through your projects and tasks and make sure everything is on track. Mark projects as reviewed as you go along.
You don’t even have to type in new tasks! Just tell Siri to add a task to OmniFocus, and it’s there.
Inspectors are editable — you can remove things you don’t use, and add things you do use. And drag to move things into the order you want.

You can assign a special tag to the Forecast — everything with that tag will appear in the current day‘s list. This means you can make tasks without a due date (or with some other due date) appear in today’s list.
Create new ways to see your data by filtering and grouping projects and tags. Use the intuitive and powerful perspective editor to set up different rules for your personal perspectives. A perspective might show everything tagged with “Grocery Store” and “Birthday” — so you pick up everything needed for the party. Another perspective might show everything in a Work project tagged with “High Energy” — for things to do right after that cup of coffee.
