Privacy Policy Update

If your inbox looks anything like mine, it’s probably currently full of emails about updates to privacy policies of the various services that you use.

Omni has also updated our privacy policy to be compliant with the new data privacy regulations outlined by the European Union, known as “GDPR”.

Your privacy is important to you and that makes it important to us. There’s a high level of trust involved in the relationship that we have with our customers and we want to keep earning it.

The changes here aren’t dramatic, because we’ve always tried to give customers as much control over their data as possible. This updated policy is specific about what kinds of information that we collect and have access to and how you can go about exercising your right to control the information that we keep. Although this update is in response to new regulations effecting our European customers, we will extend the same options to all of our customers regardless of their location.

Haiti earthquake

After seeing what happened yesterday in Haiti, one of our employees suggested that we might be able to organize a group donation to organizations providing aid. A few hours and several discussions later, we were able to combine company funds and employee contributions to donate $45,100 to the following organizations:

Events like this make us feel fortunate for the safety of our families. I just wanted to take a moment to commend our employees for getting involved and recognize how honored I am to be able to work with such a great group of caring and generous people.

If you've been thinking about donating to an aid organization, we hope that this inspires you to take the next step.

OmniPlan 1.1.1 beta 1 is now available

OmniPlan 1.1.1 beta 1 is now available, localized for Japanese, French, Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. If you use OmniPlan in one of these languages, please let us know of any problems you see so that we can get the issue corrected as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind that this release is still under development. Your feedback will help us improve the software, and we apologize if it crashes, corrupts your files, or otherwise misbehaves. A more stable release that does not include localizations is also available.

OmniPlan 1.1

OmniPlan 1.1 is here! There are several enhancements in this release including improved import/export, leveling, printing and stability. We have also added some useful AppleScripts and improved some of the interface. Since we have made so many stability improvements, we do encourage all OmniPlan users to upgrade to the latest release version. You can view a complete list of changes in the OmniPlan 1.1 release notes.

This is a free update for folks who already own an OmniPlan 1 license. If you don't have a license yet, you can purchase one from our online store.

We are continuing to work on OmniPlan, so keep your comments and suggestions coming! You can contact us directly by way of our support page or by using the Send Feedback command in OmniPlan's Help menu.
