- Hopefully worked around an issue on 10.5 Leopard which would sometimes cause our normally well-behaved "lsbom" child tasks to turn into zombie processes that would fill up the user's process table, leading to "No more processes" errors in other applications. (We weren't able to reproduce this here, so we can't prove that this fixes the issue. If you were seeing this, please let us know if this fix works!)
- Rewrote the package scanner to find all the system packages on 10.5 Leopard.
- If we can't find the factory-installed font "Helvetica-Oblique" (which we normally use for linked files), we now fall back on using the system font rather than crashing.
- The built-in software update can now automatically download and install its updates.

In the "Download Now" section of the sidebar on the right, click the version you want to download.
Wait until the download is complete. If your web browser and system are properly configured, Disk Copy or Finder will open and mount the downloaded disk image. If this does not happen, locate in Finder the .dmg file that you downloaded and double-click it to open the file. (Double-check to be sure that you've quit all running copies of OmniDiskSweeper before you continue any further...)
When the disk image mounts, a new Finder window will open that contains the icon for your new OmniDiskSweeper application. Simply drag this icon to your Applications folder (or wherever you would like to keep it) to install. This copies the application from the virtual disk image onto your hard disk so the application is there for you to use whenever you like.
Once OmniDiskSweeper is installed you can safely 'eject' the virtual disk that it came on and also dispose of the .dmg file that you downloaded if you choose. Double-click the OmniDiskSweeper icon in the location you installed it in order to begin using the application. You may wish to drag the icon to the Dock for easy access.
OmniDiskSweeper can be used in unlicensed mode to search for big files on your disks, but if you pay the $15 license fee you'll have access to a handy button that also lets you delete those files. Licenses are available on our online store.
If you have misplaced your license code just visit the Lost Licenses page to retrieve it. If this does not work for you, please send email to sales@omnigroup.com.
