OmniFocus for iPhone

The iPhone OS version of OmniFocus (winner of Best iPhone Productivity Application at the WWDC 2008 Apple Design Awards) brings powerful task management functionality to users' fingertips. With live, automatic syncing, location-aware custom actions lists, and on-the-fly task entry with voice notes and image capture, OmniFocus for iPhone is built to enhance your busy life. Access shopping lists, agenda items for work, tasks for home, or any other lists you need, wherever you are.

Key Features

  1. Contexts

    Contexts

When you’re working in contexts, you’re looking at tasks related to the mode you’re in—so when you’re ready to sit down and make some calls, you just tap the Phone context in your OmniFocus document in order to see all the phone-related tasks you have. Once your actions have contexts assigned, you can selectively view your actions by context, to see just the ones that are actually available to you wherever you are now.

  2. Nearby contexts

    Nearby contexts

Thanks to iPhoneʼs location awareness, OmniFocus can help you decide what to do next based on where you are. When you tap the Nearby Contexts button, OmniFocus shows you the available actions that are closest to you. For instance, if you’re out buying groceries, OmniFocus can show you the closest grocery store and create an instant shopping list.

  3. Inbox

    Inbox

The inbox is where you can quickly add items as you think of them. It’s designed to be a kind of catch-all for everything that’s on your mind, and you can store items in your inbox until you’re ready to process and categorize them. To add a new item, just tap the New Inbox Item button in the toolbar, type whatever’s on your mind, tap Save, and you’re done.
