1. Context

See everything you need from the Grocery Store—no matter the project—and never make a second trip again. With OmniFocus for iPad's new simplified Map, see the available actions that are closest to you.

  2. Forecast

    A tap of the finger shows you where and what you need to take care of, and now you can check your OmniFocus for iPad Forecast for an easy way to see when everything needs to be done. Deal with urgent items in the Overdue view, see what's on the agenda for today, enable Calendar integration, and glance at the week ahead to balance your workload.

  3. Review

    Use Review mode to keep watch of your ever-changing needs and stay engaged with your entire OmniFocus document. Check-in with your items and update their statuses. Reactivate on hold projects or drop items that you know you won't get to. Ongoing reviews help you maintain your peace of mind by knowing you've got everything exactly where it needs to be.

  4. Sync

    Keep it all up-to-date and take your to-dos to-go with Sync. OmniFocus for iPad can sync with OmniFocus for Mac, iPhone, or iPod touch via Omni Sync Server or other WebDAV servers.
  5. Quick Entry

    Use Quick Entry to add items to your inbox, as quickly as you think of them. Collect miscellaneous thoughts on the fly until you're ready to process and organize them. If you already know where something needs to go, Quick Entry lets you organize everything into folders and projects.

What's New

Latest release: March 28 2012

OmniFocus requires iOS 4.0 or later. In order to use Location Reminders, you need to have iOS 5 installed, and have an iPad 2 or later with 3G or 4G.

OmniFocus 1.5.1 for iPad is a minor update which fixes Review mode regressions introduced in the previous release and improves support for iPads with Retina displays.

Review Mode

  • Fixed a regression which caused incorrect labels to appear for a project’s review interval.
  • Fixed a regression which caused a crash when entering Review mode for projects with a yearly review interval.

Retina Display

  • Fixed display of custom Perspective icons.
  • Fixed the swapped Sequential and Parallel images.
  • Updated appearance of the shiny red and blue buttons in Settings.
  • Updated appearance of Project, Folder, and Context caps in the outline view.
  • Fixed a bug where the last 2 pixels of an item’s note summary was not faded out.
  • Fixed a bug where the content placeholder background was drawn at the wrong scale.
  • Reused default launch and placeholder images for Forecast mode to save approximately 8 MB of application size.

Miscellaneous

  • Improved the animation sequence when choosing an item from the Settings Menu in portrait orientation on iOS 5.1.
  • The appearance of the Account Info button on the Omni Sync Server setup screen is now consistent with the rest of the Sync Setup.
