We’re pretty excited for the next year of stuff! We did a lot in 2014 and spent some time at the end finalizing plans for 2015. We have some things we’re about ready to unveil to everyone and, soon, they’ll be ready for your different devices.
We released too many updates to list them all here, so read Ken’s blog post to catch up completely. In just a sentence: we shipped OmniFocus 2 for Mac and iPad, OmniOutliner 4 for Mac, and OmniGraffle 2 for iPad; and we did a ton to support existing customers with upgrade discounts, free iBooks, better documentation, and a brand new support site.
We’re adding the last bits of polish to the big 2.1 release—it’ll fit in perfectly with Yosemite and adds some new features. The public test has been underway for a while, so if you’d like to see it now, head to our Test site to download it.
It stands out with that brand new Yosemite finish, a new Today Widget, and an extension for Sharing. It’s fantastic.
We hope to submit to the App Store this week!
You have the iPad app. How much would you pay for a copy for your iPhone? I’m talking about OmniFocus, OmniOutliner, OmniPlan, and OmniGraffle for iPad—all of them—on your iPhone. $50? €100? 200 ceiling-less Swiss francs? Yeah, we’d pay that too.
Except you’ll get all of them on your iPhone and iPad for the same, low price—what you’ve already paid, and not a penny more. We’re extremely happy to do it, and we hope you’ll get even more use out of the apps. Now you’ll definitely want to get OmniPresence with Omni Sync Server going.
We’re shooting for March. But if the sun comes out soon… (Kidding.)
In sum: if you purchased any of our iPad apps, they’re going Universal. No extra cost for the next big update. They’ll be waiting for you to tap the Install button.
Not in this issue! Have questions about any of this? Just write: email@example.com.
Have a great 2015!
Everyone at the Omni Group
P.S. – We can’t wait to tell you about our upcoming watch app! Look for more details at omnigroup.com as soon as the Apple Watch ships in April.
