Omni Store Pricing
If you purchased OmniFocus from our store any time after February 1st, you’ll automatically receive an OmniFocus 2 Professional license. OmniFocus 2 doesn’t have a release date yet, but you can read about the announcement.
Customers that already have a valid OmniFocus license are eligible for discounted upgrades. Upgrade pricing for our store will be $39.99 for OmniFocus 2 Professional and $19.99 for OmniFocus 2 Standard.
Volume discounts will still be available through our store, and education discounts will be available through our Education Store.
App Store Pricing
We’ve written a bit about the inability to offer discounted upgrades in the App Store before—and we sincerely hope that Apple will add it in the future—but for right now we’re not able to.
Before we release OmniFocus 2, we’ll make available OmniKeyMaster: a simple app that will validate your OmniFocus 1 license and issue a corresponding Omni Store license automatically. Once you have an Omni Store license for OmniFocus 1, you’ll be able to follow either of the upgrade paths above in our store for OmniFocus 2; you’ll then receive updates directly from us.
