1. Visual Timeline

Our Gantt chart isn't just functional, but also a joy to interact with! We put the best bits front and center to take advantage of iPad's innate ability for focus: customizable timeframes, quick task editing, dependency & completion controls, and familiar zooming gestures.

  2. Sync On The Road

Synchronize changes without ever needing a desk at the office. When OmniPlan is paired with a server, you can keep your colleagues up to date wherever your iPad has internet access.

  3. Change Tracking

Accept or reject changes each step of the way. If you're syncing with others, use change tracking to review, browse, and then accept or reject project updates (task by task or en masse) from your collaborators.

  4. Automatic Leveling

Never worry about project optimization again — OmniPlan can automatically schedule tasks to increase efficiency and reduce downtime. Based on resources and dependencies, just tell OmniPlan who's doing what and how much time they have available. The rest is taken care of before you even tap "Done."

  5. Smart Scheduling

Everyone has a different schedule. Make allowances for vacation time and holidays so the project stays on track. Add exceptions for each team member individually, or as a group, and OmniPlan will take care of scheduling around them.

  6. Auto-Update

Always be assured that you have the most recent changes from colleagues. Get updates regularly with OmniPlan open, ensuring that everyone's working with the most recent project data.

  7. Filtering

Narrow your scope by Resource, Status, Type, or Date Range. With a few taps, be ready to update your project with completion estimates from Jim, add new vacation time from Barb, or share the schedule for December at a board meeting.

  8. Violations

As you create your project, OmniPlan will look for details that don't look quite right, like dependency loops, or tasks that start before the project does. We'll explain those problems to you, along with options on how to fix it.

  9. Resource Load Sharing

The very popular feature on the Mac is also available for the iPad: if Project B is taking Jim or Barb away from Project A, that's OK! Subscribe to loads from a shared server repository and we'll optimize their schedule. Automatically.
