Pete -

Interesting problem.

I have a copy of the Electronic AppWrapper dated Vol. 1, Nr. 2,
May 1993. However, as best I can tell, it doesn't go out over the
net to fetch any info. It seems to be self-contained.

It doesn't seem to contain a version of OmniWeb or of the other browser
sorts of things you are looking for.

I also have NeXT's Third Party Demonstration Software CDs dated 1992
and the NeXT Education Software Sampler CD dated Fall 1992.

I can look at these tomorrow if it would be helpful. I don't see any
of the things you mention in a look through the paper documentation.

However, other sorts of apps might have links. These have Connect! to
connect to Internet gateways and What's Happening to manage multiple
calendars over the network.

How early did NeXT include a link on the OS install CD for a network
time server? Is that something that would help?

I'll get back to you with what I learn.
