Just because it is used by Microsoft does NOT mean it's exclusively
limited to them. Java developers use SP as service pack (like in
JBoss, for instance) as do several others, but I've done you the
honour of one example I'm sure that when you crawl out of your
foxhole, you can find others yourself. Before you start using
knee-jerk generalisations, at least make sure you're right.
