The image I downloaded, repeatedly, via OW was exactly the right  
size, and I couldn't find any error messages anywhere. I wonder what  
was preventing it opening, when other .dmgs were opening and  
functioning readily on the same disk and using the same system?

It's a bit embarrassing when you can't use the browser you keep  
telling everyone is superior, to download its own updates... :S
