Syncing bookmarks

I've been experimenting with syncing files to a DAV server and it seems like
I'm missing something.

I've set up a DAV server and have set the OW prefs on my PB to use a folder
on that server. I created a test bookmark and then looked how it looked like
on the server: perfect.

I then change to my iMac and set up the OW prefs there, I get a question if I
should use the bookmarks on the server or those on the iMac. I select those
on the server and can now see the bookmark correctly. Then strange things
starts happening.

I move the bookmark from "My Shared Bookmarks" to "Personal Bookmarks" just
to check if the changes are synced. I change to the PB again and launch OW.

I discover that the changes on my iMac has not been synced to the server
(yes, I selected "sync bookmarks" ... there was several strange things
happening when I did that on the iMac). I try to move the bookmark on my PB
and then sync it and the same strange things happens:

The icons for "My Shared Bookmarks" and "Personal Bookmarks" changes between
"chasing arrows" and the proper icons, this continues for a while until I get
a dialog that asks me to login on DAV server again, I do this and everything
is repeated.

Can anyone give me an idea what is happening and what the problem is?
