Depending on hardware, that's true. I have my wife use Safari on a  
PBG4 500/768MB/40GB 5400RPM for that reason. Coming from IE on  
Windows, tabs, spellchecking... is good enough for the casual surfer.  
She probably visits as many pages per day as I have open at any given  
time.

Since upgrading myself from a dual 800/1.25GB to a dual 2.7/4.5GB, OW  
scales MUCH better.
