Here are some more info;
Omniweb beta 4 hangs (spinning wheel) for 3-10 seconds every time I
     - add an entry to the bookmarks from the browser view.
     - add a folder to the bookmarks view
     - Visit a webpage by typing in the URL that exists in my  
bookmarks, other webpages goes fine.

The DAV server is OS X standard apache, and is not particular slow:
