Ok i finally got this fixed.
I switched with the RCDefaultApp prefpane to Mail and switched back to 
GyazMail and now the crashcatcher displays the crash log and a popup 
sheet to allow me to send the report either via GyazMail or Mail.

Might be a bug in Mac OS X's launch services.
