Have you tried internationalized version of 5.1.1 under "Japanese"
environment? Changing language environment from "Japanese" into
"English" at "International" tab in "System Preferences", I found
that internationalized one works so fine. Probably, source of the
problem exists within "Japanese.lproj". Therefore, under other
language environment, such as English, French and so on, it works
fine as it does not use files in Japanese.lproj.
