I experienced same problem.
I installed internationalized version and found that I could see  
nothing in "Bookmarks" menu. Strangely, when I click "Show Bookmarks"  
button in the tool bar, I could see my bookmarks.

Then, I trashed internationalized one and download English-only  
version. Now everything work as I want.

In addition, I experienced another trouble when I used  
internationalized one under Japanese environment. In the  
"Appearance", "Ad Blocking", "Languages" and "Security" tabs of  
"Preferences" panel, I could see nothing, but "Reset" button. This  
problem does not happen with English-only one.
