OW susceptible to fragmentation? (was: Re: Omniweb is slow.)

I notice that OW is fast right after the first installation but is
getting slower as you continue using it. Trashing the Cache won't make
it better, but after the system optimization following Mac OS X
Software Updates I feel OW (almost) regaining the initial speed. Today
I have installed Security Update 2005-003, and after the system reboot,
OW is again faster than before. This makes me feel that OW may be
susceptible to fragmentation. Any thoughts?
