I would think the pop-up is coming from iSync. I used iSync the other
day, and while working in OmniOutliner, it came to a halt but I was
able to save out and close the app. When I did so, I found that there
was a window saying that iSync could not sync to my (brand new) iPod--I
hadn't taken on board that it could!--which was not even connected. The
syncing process had apparently finished about 5 minutes before, but I
had left iSync running. This is the first time I have left iSync
running after apparently completing, and the first time I have seen the
alert.
