Checking bookmarks for changes

Dan,

I'm using release 5.0.1 (not a beta), but perhaps the following
applies. I too set a faster refresh rate to RSS feeds: hourly compared
to daily or weekly for most pages. Works as expected for BBC, NYTimes,
and WSJ, but some sites don't. Spot checks reveal that, when I force an
update, nothing changes. My guess is that some sites don't update their
feeds as often as your setting and, when OmniWeb checks for an update
and finds none, it does not update the date and time on the info panel,
in effect telling you "I looked but nothing changed, so don't bother to
click here." So you might think that OmniWeb didn't check, but I
suspect it did.
