I beg to differ. This way of doing it actually makes a lot of sense.

Us frequent bug reporters (TM) really appreciate this, as it allows to 
conveniently keep a record of all submitted bug reports and feature 
requests (in the outgoing mailbox). All other mechanisms, like the one 
Apple uses in Safari, make it next to impossible to keep track of what 
you have or have not reported.

Once you reach a three digit number of reports, you'd really get 
confused without an archive of what you've sent in. Let alone that 
there would be no way to ever refer to old bug reports anymore, because 
they would have just vanished from the user's perspective.

So I'd say: keep the crash reporter just like it is.
