5.1b5 report

I've been using both OW 5.1b5 and FF 1.0 for awhile now.

OW seems to be getting fairly slow, or locks loading sites like 
okcupid, which have horrible animated gif ads.  Anything animated slows 
OW down terribly.  Often it will fail to load a site, then all sites 
fail to load until I either cancel the first one, or force quit the 
app.

FF on the other hand loads sites quickly, even okcupid.  And I am 
trying this in FF first, then in OW (so OW gets the benefit of cached 
dns)

FF also has some tricks for using more connections to make it even 
faster, but I have not turned those on yet.

Has anyone else seen these sporadic performance issues?
