"visited" link color

Whenever I use the Back button and return to a web page containing the 
link I just visited, the link color doesn't indicate that I ever visited 
the page. I've set the "visited page" color via the 
omniweb/preferences/appearance/page color to an obvious one, and the 
History prefs to save for 60 days.
I see from the archives that this has been an on-going problem but could 
never find a solution other than what I've already done. It still 
doesn't work.
Can anyone tell me what I'm not doing right?
