OmniWeb - the Apple of Mac browsers?

That'd go against using the same codebase for all platforms, I guess... 
So: It's not really their _intent_ to make the app feel (like OmniWeb) 
to be 'home' on the Mac. To some extent, of course, they do...

I think Netscape had that chance before IE came along... And in some 
ways, Firefox _is_ a heir to that throne. So I'm voting the same way. 
(We all know OmniWeb can't be _the_ browser as long as it's only 
available on one platform with less than 5% market share. ;))

Same here, same here. But you're also right that the price _will_ 
always be a stepping stone in the way of many Mac users. Let's just 
take it as it is: OmniWeb is rather a 'pro' browser application. And 
while Firefox and its open source drive can certainly extend it to be 
both pro and free, OmniWeb _has_ the advantage of being driven by money 
(which is also a handicap at the same time...).
