For sure.  But not unusual.  Safari has a similar problem.  I think 
this problem has been around longer than the current betas.

Yep.  Reported long ago as a bug, along with download sites which 
seemed to be particularly difficult to use.  I think Omni is working on 
it.  The more people who report the problem the more likely Omni is to 
allocate the needed manpower.

For downloads which never make it, the workaround is to stop, then 
resume the download.  For the first few minutes of a download all seems 
OK.  Note that you need to manually stop the download, and then RESUME, 
not RESTART the download.  If you wait until the download stops by 
itself you will need to restart it.  Restart goes back to the beginning 
so you accumulate no progress.

Some work OK, but for some large downloads I have had to manually stop 
and restart every couple of minutes for an hour or so to get the 
transfer to work.  This is a real problem which needs attention.
