Tab tooltip behavior in beta 8

I'm just wondering, has the tab tooltip behavior been changed again? 

In beta 7, when you type in Terminal.app

defaults write com.omnigroup.OmniWeb5 AlternateThumbnailMouseTips -bool 
true

this would make the tab tooltip appear only when you hover the mouse 
over the title of a tab. I loved this sensible behavior. But in beta 8, 
the tab tooltip reverted into the default behavior (the tooltips appear 
when you hover the mouse over the thumbnail also). The tag remains 
yellow nevertheless. What should I do to regain the sensible tooltip in 
beta 7? Turning the "AlternateThumbnailMouseTips" on and off seems to 
only change the tag color....
