Not a bad scheme, but I think the domain should have higher priority.  
That's a pretty important piece.  Even with that though (and even if 
they add a click to expand or a hover tooltip) it's not going to be as 
nice as an editable field where you can go through the whole uri and 
even change the request before you follow the link.
