OmniWeb 5 and dedicated status bar

Will there be a dedicated status bar like all the other web browsers?
Or will it retain the current pre-5 behavior of dynamically appearing at
the bottom of the browser window?   I don't like the current behavior
because the window layout gets reformatted temporarily, which wastes CPU
cycles and also creates an impression of a slower UI when the machine is
taxed.  I like Safari's implementation because it also shows whether
clicking a link will open it in the current window or a new window.
