Remember that OW depends on Apple's libraries and development system,
much of which changed with Panther. Before Panther OW was much more
stable. Since Panther introduced these problems a little over two
months ago, OW programmers (all three or so of them?) have been chasing
Panther-induced crashes for version 4.5.1 as well as adding features
for version 5. At least problems in going from one version of OS X to
the next are trivial compared to Apple's Open Doc fiasco.

I payed for OW thinking it would be stabilized and improved, and have
not been disappointed. I am particularly pleased with the responses I
have received to bug reports I have submitted, and with Omni's ongoing
efforts to keep all of us here on the list informed of their progress.
I look forward to a more stable 4.5.1, and to paying the small upgrade
fee for the major enhancements coming in OW 5. The closest I have to a
complaint is that I don't want to wait until February to get OW 5 and
pay the money. However I realize that OW 5 released in February will
be much more stable than if released today, so I am not really
complaining.
