Isn't that the Holy Grail of bookmark management, analogous to getting
cross-application/platform contact database synchronization working
properly? ;-)
Main problem I see is there are too many "standards" for bookmark files so
sharing/synchronizing becomes a complicated mess.
A "universal" bookmark standard seems long overdue. Maybe browsers using
XML rather than HTML are increasing the possibility for improvement?
