4.5 Beta - still no joy with Hotmail

Optimistically downloaded the 4.5 beta, but (like Safari) it won't work for
me with Hotmail.

I open Hotmail, select Compose, type in the To field, type in the Subject
field, type in the Message field. Now - I can no longer type in the To or
subject fields, and none of the buttons work.

Since a) this apparently doesn't break for everyone, b) it works in 4.2, and
c) it doesn't work in Safari either, can anyone suggest something that might
be weird about me that is making it break? I've tried the usual "trash the
preferences" thing which achieved nothing except making me re-enter my
Shortcuts?
