downloading software

It used to be that I had no difficulty downloading .dmg files using 
OmniWeb.

I just tried to download the latest versions of SBook 
(http://www.sbook5.com/) and Create (http://www.stone.com/), and in 
both cases I just see a bunch of weird characters in the window.  You 
know---³÷Й›º( @€h/°;�yÜÇ°}™ @€ @€ @, and the like!  Has something 
changed?  Is there some setting I might have unwittingly modified.  
Does anyone else have this problem?
