If they want to lock all non-Mac users out of .mac, including Mac users who
are currently sitting at a non-Mac system, that might be okay.  Otherwise,
alternative-DNS providers just don't have good coverage - if they had
visibility to 20% of users, I'd be surprised.  I'd guess more like 10-15%.
Which would be of fairly limited usefulness (or appeal) IMO.
