iCab has a "Navigate" menu. It's arranged with the common functions
(Home page, search page, back, forward, reload), then a series of
entries for "Today", "Tuesday 7 May 2002", etc.

Inside the day-oriented menus, the links are arranged in chronological
order of when they were visited.

Perhaps adding or replacing the first-level hierarchical menu to the
History window could help arrange the links in order of being visited
(today, yesterday, etc). I find it hard to use the current History
pane - so I hardly use it.
