Major upgrade this week?

Heh. Sorry to disappoint, but it's not _that_ big a deal. OmniOutliner
2.0 should go final very soon, and we needed the online store to be able
to handle upgrade sales, and the updated store supports that. Also,
OmniObjectMeter 2.0 (developer tool) will be shipping quite soon, and we
needed to support upgrade sales for that also.

As an FYI, our updated store is back online now. It uses a shopping cart
approach instead of having you fill out quantities on the main page. The
old way didn't lend itself to dealing with upgrade sales, and could be
confusing if you didn't see the "continue" button at the bottom of the
page. Hopefully this way will be better. We do plan to do a visual
makeover, but this is not it, and I'm not sure just when we're going to
have the time to get that done, though it's fairly high priority.

The new store still can't handle sales of physical product, I'm afraid.
That's a high priority, but I don't have an ETA on that either - there
are a few other priorities I have to deal with first, and some things,
like WWDC, are looming large. For now you can get the OmniGraffle boxed
edition (with manual, or just the manual by itself) from BuyOlympia (who
will continue to do fulfillment once we handle the sales directly from
our site) - there's a link on our store <https://store.omnigroup.com/>.
Note that for the moment, the boxes still contain OmniGraffle 1 CDs, and
you have to download 2.0 (however, it's a free upgrade due to several
factors, such as our repositioning of the product). We'll have 2.0 CDs
soon, but the manual will not be changing (there will be a "changes from
1.0" page in the box). I believe I got all that correct.

Our store is now hosted on Mac OS X 10.1.4 - until now it was being
hosted on the old Mac OS X Server 1.2. This will make it a lot easier
for me to do ongoing development on it, and should be more stable.
(Watch it crash tonight just to spite me.)
