Dragged link annoyances...

I think the approach of dragging the item to the menu bar is the best.

It's the same in the Finder, if you accidental has started to drag an 
item you do not want to move, drag it to the menu bar and it will fall 
back to where it came from - in this situation the trash works a bit 
differently :-)
