    I was wondering if it could be related to the OpenGL support for 
your video card under MacOS X (ATi Rage LT 128). The other message 
you sent makes me think you should try to re-install the application 
(the whole game + the cocoa application itself).

    I also have a ATi Rage 128 card (mobility-AGP) and the game runs just fine.
