The thought that they are including a new engine in a point release is
humorous.

If you search the archives for a message from len at omnigroup.com on June 7th
with the subject 'Please help me figure out if I should care about OmniWeb'
you will see a rough outline of where they are heading down the road with
OW.

Or you could always just click on this handy link

I wish 5.0 would come out tomorrow ;-)

Funny thing, after upgrading to 10.0.4 and having it do it's prebinding
thing, OW launched in an amazing 6 bounces. It wasn't even that good when
OW figured out how to prebind their custom frameworks or whatever. Sadly,
the advantages of the prebinding disappear quickly and only days later I am
up to 10 bounces or so again.

And even with the latest sp, I don't see these supposed speed increases.
It's not so much the speed of the rendering that concerns me, but more so
the very sluggish performance in user interaction. But I have mentioned
that before... and I will again, just not right now :-)
