Saving linked images to disk

I think I mentioned this before.. 

if you try and do a "save linked images to disk" for some reason StuffIt launches and tries to decompress EVERY file in the directory..

I just want to save the images, not open them in the Desktop (which is probably what is causing StuffIt to feel that it has a role in the situation.. it is the center of the universe after all)

Any chance this might get fixed for beta 8?
