I would love to be able to help you out on this. I previously wrote a plugin
(AdFilter.plugin) for OmniWeb 3.0 on OPENSTEP 4.2 that did pretty much what
you want.

Unfortunately, I do not have a box available to me to run Mac OS X PB. Even
if I did, I doubt I would want to pay CAN$50 or whatever to be able to run
apps on my hardware at near glacial speeds.  Of what i've seen of DP4,
OmniWeb runs faster than i've ever seen it run. But the rest of the OS pains
me when I see or use it. I will reevaluate Mac OS X 1.0 when it is released.
