Thanks to the people that sent help.

I think I was standing in the forest and could not see the trees. I =
copied OmniWeb to the Applications folder and made sure OmniWeb was not =
open. The one on the desktop was an alias and the one in Computer must =
have been running from the desktop.

They went into the trash can and every thing seems to be fine.
