"bookmarks already in use"?

I'm using OmniWeb 4.0b5 on Mac OS X PB. I have only one user on this machine, and it is a local user, not remote where the prefs might be shared. However, sometimes when I launch OW, it warns me "the bookmarks file is already in use on the machine "magn0lia". It gives me the same alert when I quit and relaunch within a session or the first launch after a restart. I don't think there's any way that these prefs are shared. I'm not sure whether I had added a bookmark to the file in the past or not.
I'm not sure where the bookmarks file is stored, so I couldn't check anything about it, but the general prefs are in ~/Library/Preferences/com.omnigroup.OmniWeb.plist which is owned by me and permissions set to 600.
