changing highlight color

Using 3.1rc2 I'm finding that the default grey highlight color does not  
stand out well enough when I do searches inside a browser window and would  
like to change it to something more garish, but I can't find anywhere to  
change this. (There doesn't seem to be defaults setting for this color in the  
system defaults database either.)  Is it possible to change? - Thanks. -
