I can't reproduce this with OmniWeb 3.1rc2/Mac OS X Server (see attached screen shot).

Selecting the letters and images it seems that I see A'B', A''B'', and A'''B''' and not A 'B ', A ''B '', and A '''B '''. Did I misunderstand your bug report or am I really seing a different behavior?
