Hi there,

If a document says <font face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">, and Verdana
and Arial are not available, should the browser display the text in
Helvetica?

OmniWeb doesn't.  Nor in quickly perusing HTML 4.01 can I find this
behavior specified.  However, many web designers seem to believe that
this is how things work -- that the browser as a last resort should
interpret "sans-serif" as directing it to use any sans-serif font that is
available.
