Invalid Licence - 4.0b1

After installing and attempting to run 4.0b1, I get a window which 
pops up and says -

"This application is not licensed or too many users are using this application"

It gives me an option to "Quit" or "Add License".  Clicking on the 
"Add License" does in fact show the single user license.  Any ideas?
