I would have to agree with Scott.

I am new to the list and to the OS X/Server/NS world so I am 'jumping' in
with DP3.

As for Mr. Worshipper's comment about using 'OS 9 Tools' to decompress an
'OS X' file...

Before I got OpenUp I was using Stuffit Expander for all my DP3
decompression needs and I don't see what the problem with that is...

When I first installed DP3 I had no idea how to do it via Terminal and I
used Expander to decompress OpenUp.

And while you're cutting away at the people coming from the Mac OS side of
things keep in mind that many Mac users are power users and are quite handy
in OS's other than Mac OS. Do you know how to extract and install Stuffit
Expander when you download it and it comes as a .sit file and you don't have
expander to unstuff it? Should I assume you don't just because you're
probably not a long-time Mac user??

I have seen a few places where people from the NeXT world are talking about
the Mac OS and have made some errors and/or omissions. It goes both ways.

BTW... Steve.... are you sure you're running 4.0b1? The behavior you
describe is exactly what I experienced when I installed the older version.
Full instructions on how to install are on Omni's download page for 4.0b1.
