Applets

Yes and no. (Perhaps I should say "No and yes.") OmniWeb has generic support  
for applets, but  specific support for particular _types_ of applets must also  
exist. Most people think Java when they think applet, and the current OmniWeb  
does not include Java support due to changes in Apple's Java stuff since we  
added our prior Java support.

I think (can't promise) that the next release of OmniWeb will include Java  
support again. However, Apple's Java stuff in Mac OS X Server is not yet  
perfect, and you can't use it to do the Macintosh Manager stuff.

Note that since our Java support relies on Apple's Java support, we won't have  
support for Java on OpenStep.
