can't run omniweb

i downloaded the recent omniweb app
after it intalls and unpacks (no errors)
i click on the icon and...
it dows one window-like opening thing,...and nothing...no window, now app
running to running PID nothing...
how can we solve this?
only the omni version that is on osx cd will run.
